As Stockholm University, IJM-CNRS and METU-Hacettepe, we organized a joint symposium in ESEB 2022 in Prague on studying domestication via ancient DNA, with the participations of Anders Götherström, Eva-Maria Geigl, Thierry Grange, Füsun Özer, Gözde Atağ, Mehmet Somel and Mustafa Özkan. We had Laurent Franz as keynote speaker, and many exciting contributed talks from tomatoes to dogs. Füsun Özer also gave a talk about Neolithic sheep from Anatolia at the session. It is amazing to see how fast the field is developing!
