Our latest joint lab meeting was held on the 30th of May. We had three talks. First by Gözde Atağ from METU on “Genomic insights into the endangered mouflon populations of Anatolia and Cyprus”, then by Hande Çubukçu (Hacettepe University) on “An evaluation of genotype imputation on ancient genomes from West Eurasia”, and finally by Anders Götherström (SU-CPG) on “The sailors of Mary Rose”.
The meeting was very fruitful, and afterwards we made a call to all group members to organize joint meetings under specific topics, without necessarily all four lab members joining. We think that this can be another effective means of collaboration and experience sharing.
