NEOMATRIX takes off amid the COVID-19 pandemic

NEOMATRIX is a 3-year project involving research collaboration and exchange of experience across our groups in Ankara, Heraklion, Paris, and Stockholm. The project proposal was designed well before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, and was officially accepted in May 2020. According to the original proposal, the collaborative team activities would involve travel by researchers from one city to another and the team members were supposed to work together physically. However, the plan had to be updated due to the pandemic.

As of January 2021, NEOMATRIX is taking off. Our teams are beginning to collaborate via virtual meetings, and we are planning to realize the physical visits and meetings as soon as international travel becomes safe and permitted. Follow us on Twitter and check our website regularly so that we can keep you updated about these new arrangements.
